4D Developments wants to construct quality designed houses that are affordable for people currently unable to purchase a home and are locked out of the housing market.  We believe it is possible to drive construction costs down to an affordable level and we are committed to passing on these savings to our customers.

We want to create simple elegant places to live that are well designed and that support a thriving community.  We want to make them from sustainable materials and use systems that restore resources and reduce pollution.  We want to make beautiful homes that allow you to live they way you want to, with rooms that are bright and flexible.

Lean Construction:

We want to use Lean Construction techiques to avoid waste, to save time, and to make efficient processes that can be repeatable and adaptable.  The Lean construction philosophy is based on constantly improving and learning in order to be more efficient, to provide better quality and to drive down costs.  This philsophy will be at the heart of everything we do.

Modular design:

By building as much as possible off site we plan to improve productivity and quality, reduce time and waste and provide a better product for less.  By pre-fabricating in a factory we can avoid delays from weather, improve quality, reduce mistakes and save time.  We can also reduce waste and have more control on the process.
